The wait is over, and the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado’s first look has been revealed to the masses. The 2020 Colorado has also been updated with all-new design features and a stylish, bold look. The 2020 variant of Colorado comes with a makeover to its front and rear ends, including a new bow-tie badge on its grille as well as the word “Chevrolet” embossed across its tailgate.

With the release of the 2020 Colorado, the car’s various trims can be more easily differentiated. The Chevrolet Colorado’s WT, LT, and Z71 versions feature a new grille and a lower fascia design that’s significantly different from the ZR2.

The latest trim is the only Colorado model to feature flow-through lettering. The newest addition complements the ZR2’s rugged lower fascia that allows the grille to easily blend into the front bumper.

The ZR2 also adds new red tow hooks to its exterior, which supplements its several other off-roading-compatible features. The other capabilities include multimeric dampers, front and rear electronically locking differentials, skid plates to protect the underbody, and a 2.0-inch lift and 3.5-inch wider track as compared to the previous iterations.

While the company has not revealed the performance specs in detail, industry experts believe that the current powertrains will continue to feature in the 2021 model line-up. This would include a 2.8L inline-four engine that gives 186-horsepower, a 2.5L inline-four engine that delivers 200 horsepower, as well as a 3.6L V6 that churns out an impressive 308 horsepower.

The 2020 Chevrolet Colorado will be revealed to the public at the 2019 Method Race Wheels Laughlin Desert Classic in Laughlin, Nevada on the 10th of October, 2019. Also, the much-awaited ZR-2 trim will debut at the Speciality Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nevada by November 2019.

The Chevrolet Colorado is General Motors' highest-volume midsize pickup truck, and the 2020 model includes several aesthetic additions that are sure to draw the attention of every car enthusiast out there. Known for its power-packed performance, this extraordinary Chevy will carry on to the latest model, along with other safety and driver assistance features.
