2020 Corvette Convertible

The 2020 Corvette Convertible is a sports car with a mid-engine layout. It is both precise and packs a lot of power. Completely redesigned, the 2020 Corvette Convertible takes performance to a whole new level. It is aerodynamically superior to its competitors and sports gorgeous and highly functional exteriors. The 2020 Corvette Convertible in Huntington only has a single part leftover from the previous seven generations. Powered by a capable, all-new V2 engine, this convertible also has a retractable hardtop that effortlessly flows into the rest of the body.

This 2-piece hardtop can be opened and closed at speeds of not more than 30 mph. The entire open/close operation takes a mere 16 seconds. Once retracted, the top can be stored in a panel located above the engine between the passenger compartment and the back wheels.

Exteriors
The roof of the convertible is of the same color as the rest of the body. The power windows in the rear slide into the body of the Corvette – thereby allowing for better open-air drives. GM says that the hardtop, when rolled down, drastically reduces interior noise. The exhausts have also been repositioned to the sides.

Interiors
The interiors are graceful and the seats incredibly comfortable. A new and large infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen is positioned high on the dashboard. Access to this infotainment system from the driver’s seat is quick and easy too. Controls for air conditioning and heating sit on top of the trim dividing the cabin into two equal parts. Additionally, the 2020 Corvette Convertible offers ample cargo storage in both the trunk and under the hood.

Capability
This model has a powerful engine capable of producing 495 horsepower. When fitted with the Z51 Performance Package, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just under three seconds. This package comes with many upgrades, such as a performance-tuned suspension and larger brake rotors as well as a tinier axle ratio. All of this is on par with the 753-HP-producing monster C7 ZR1 from the last generation.

The convertible is equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. There are also three trim options, including the 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT.
