In addition, the Traverse has a large amount of cargo space, decent gas mileage, and an entertaining infotainment system, making it a complete SUV.

Interior

The 2020 Chevrolet Traverse can seat up to eight passengers. The first two rows have lots of space with cozy seats. The last row is suitable for children, but even adults can manage sitting in the back during short trips. For small children, the Traverse provides two LATCH car-seat connectors in the second row. In the third row, there are three tether anchors.

Cargo Space

There's significant cargo space in the Traverse. You get up to 23 cubic feet behind the last row of seats. This is enough to incorporate nearly a dozen carry-on suitcases or even a month's worth of groceries. For additional space, simply fold down the second and third seating row, and you will get a whopping 98.2 feet!

Bluetooth, Navigation, & Infotainment

The rear has plenty of entertainment features too, such as a touch screen with intuitive menu design, and smartly arranged infotainment controls.

Performance

Every Traverse model features a 310 hp V6 engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This engine is not super fast, but it has sufficient power.

In terms of handling and riding, the Traverse gives a cushioned ride even on rough terrain. It is effortless to drive the Traverse, even in busy parking lots.
